Ash is a certified fitness instructor, who works with youth, adults, and older adults living with mental and physical illnesses. He combines his skills and expertise in counseling, general health planning, yoga, and workout instruction to work alongside each person toward recovery.
Over the years, Ash has worked with people from various cultural backgrounds and people who have had to overcome many of life’s challenges on their journey to recovery from illnesses. His compassion, care, and dedication can be felt in her presence alone.
Ash grew up in India, in a family focused on yogic principles. He first commenced practicing yoga as a young child with his brother, who is also a fitness instructor. In 2001, Ash focused his practice on fitness, workout, Hatha, Iyengar, and Ashtanga styles of yoga attending regular guided classes, Gym, and home practice. This was a turning point in his life when he felt it was time to commence his own “real” journey and follow the family tradition.
Now teaching fitness to groups and in private lessons, Ash remains passionate about making fitness accessible to all. In particular, he uses the therapeutic aspects of yoga blended with counseling principles and health planning to promote the person’s well-being as a whole.
